How this program came to Life
“We strive to build more than just a business. We want a safe, inspiring space where kids can learn to use their voices with confidence—something I wish I’d had when I was younger. Pat was already a member of the Rise team for Pearland school district. He asked me if I would be interested in becoming part of a mentoring program for kids in the Pearland area. I jumped at the chance to do this and have been mentoring for the last 3 years. Patrick has also been mentoring for the last 4 years. This was perfect to start giving back within the community but also continue to build my voice so that I can speak on the behalf of kids and their needs. AIP is a media program and creative hub where kids learn public speaking, digital media, video editing, acting, screenwriting, and storytelling. They practice slowing down their thoughts, reflecting, and expressing themselves with power and purpose.
Kids are only lost when they don’t have a light to lead them.
It’s about mentoring, teaching, and giving kids the tools to be seen and heard. It’s about reaching underrepresented youth, kids who may feel overlooked, and creating a consistent, supportive environment where they can grow. Loud & Clear is an outlet for expression, healing, and connection through art, media, and storytelling.” – Wesley Yarbrough – Founder
